Merkur Inspired, the Joint Venture between Merkur Gaming and Inspired Gaming Group (Inspired), and B Plus Giocolegale, the largest concessionaire in Italy with the highest share of VLT licenses, announce today that they have passed the Italian VLT approval process known as Collaudo.

B Plus selected Merkur Inspired as its VLT system provider on the strength of the combined offering from two of Europe’s leading suppliers and the proven performance of Inspired’s Open VLT™ platform in Italy.

Inspired’s trusted Open VLT™ platform was the second to go live in Italy back in 2010 and allows operators the flexibility of choosing Inspired or third-party cabinets or games. As well as being open to third-party collaboration it is rich in operator functionality for ultimate control over scheduling game menus, stakes and promotions, and produces in-depth real time reporting. Inspired is also the supplier of the class leading HD cabinet called Storm and has a library of top performing HD games. 

Merkur Gaming has extensive experience in creating top performing slots games and high quality cabinets. Merkur Gaming’s Slant Top Evolution widescreen VLT cabinet is becoming particularly popular, with B Plus set to install a large number across its venues.
